28 weeks and still no name
Maybe this baby shouldn't be born. It will have to go though life with the moniker of "baby" it's whole life. Poor wee mite. Neither Brendon or I can come up with a name we like. In fact, there seems to be no motivation or inspiration to even find one. It's like we ran out of names after Aidan.
He hates what I like and vice versa (nothing new in that department) He came up with the name Corrine and I thought I was going to hurl. He then pops up with Cameron and Lauren. How funny is that? They are lovely names but he didn't realize they were my friend Christi's sweet, adorable little girls names. LOL I informed him also that Lauren was too close to his mother's name and also the name of my cousins new baby.
He nixed my idea of Sophia/Sophie, Isabella and Olivia. His reasons...Sophia is the name of the old lady on the tv show the "Golden Girls", Isabella is "dumb" and Olivia is the name of the obnoxious child from the "Cosby Show". What kind of reasons are those? I think he watched way too much tv as a kid.
For a boy...we got squat there too!
So, I guess this post will help me decide if anyone other than Hannah and Christi actually read this blog as we are asking for any and all suggestions.

OMG, Michelle, I LOVE baby names!!! Have you checked some sites for top baby names? Babycenter has a board for baby names. Also there is a list put out by the Social Security department with top 100 names, I believe.
Cameron for a boy would be good. Or was Brendon thinking for a girl? A good place to start is get a baby book. Ok, before I get into the details, this is how Hugh and I decided on Lauryn's name in one day! You go through the baby book from front to back and write down every name you like even variations and different spellings. Make Brendon do the same. His list will probably be short cause he's a guy lol. Then come to together and give him your list and he gives his to you. Then you each mark off what you definitely can not live with. Keep possibles and definites. Once you are down to 5-10 names, rate them. One being your fave and 10 being the least favorite on a list numbered 1-10.
I originally wanted Lauryn to have a K name. Not sure why but I did. The K name I wanted was Kelsey. I've always wanted that name but it doesn't sound to flash with our last name, Kelsey Nelson. So somehow we ended up with Lauryn and changed the spelling to match Kamryn's.
Maybe also go through the alphabet and write down which letters you like and don't like. I love Ks, Bs and Ms for girls. I can not stand T or V names. Our boy name is set in stone so that doesn't change. Will you be finding out the sex? We never really had to come up with two names because the boy was decided from my first pregnancy.
I like Corrine and have even thrown it out to Hugh. I want it spelled Corryn though. He doesn't like it lol. The only one we can seem to agree on is Brynn for a girl but I think it needs to be another syllable lol. Maybe since you can't come up with a boy name means you are having a girl????
Ok, so I wrote you a novel for everyone to read lol. Sorry :( If you need any more help then I am happy to help out if I can ;)
Oh my goodness Michelle!! I had to LOL at Brendon's nixing of your names and the CRAZY reasons!! I agree, he must have watched too much telly as a kid ... I must admit even though I watched both those shows I never would have associated those names with them, at least not immediately!!

Well, hopefully that gives you something to argue (I mean think) about!! Good luck!
Glenn is a good name!
I always thought if I had a boy, I'd name him something tough like Gunnar.
Hey, Michelle;
Allison thinks the name Kayla would be a great name. For a boys name what about Travis, Hunter, Ed(after big brother), Matthew, Isiah, Noah. Another girl name would be Celine, Jennifer, Faith (aka Faith Hill), Hope, Grace, Becca, Alli, Brenda Kay HA! HA! sorry I haven't looked on your blog for a long time. I better keep up with it. How are you? Better go Love ya Brenda
More names: Lydia, Emma, Grace, Kaylie, Bailey, Maggie, Kylie, Taylor.
OH and I have stakes on Hunter ;)
Thanks for all the names!
Christi, Hunter is safe for you. It's a nice name, I suggested it with the last 2 babies and I got vetoed.
Glenn, I do like your name in fact so does Brendon. The only problem is convincing Brendon that it is ok to have alliteration. He's such a picky pain in the bum! Perhaps as a middle name though!
Hannah, You need to have some more children, shame Rob had the ol' snip you would do well naming some babies! LOL
Brenda, How did I know you'd slip Ed and Brenda Kay in that lot? :-)
Thanks guys, keep them coming!
